Don't think I had to set up anything special on the 11:- 1) I installed the protools disc and the ASIO drivers were then available from the dropdown list in my DAW.. My intent is to forget about PT and use the 11R with my current well-established Cubase 5 setup.. Well, I folded I just ordered an 11R I started browsing on the Avid site under the support section to see what dowloads area avail for this device.

For using the 11R as the main DAW's ASIO sound card, you'd want it set up so that audio coming from the PC to the 11R goes straight to the analog outs+headphones without passing through the 'rig' in 11R (except for reamping, which is probably a whole other kettle of fish).. At the same time you'd want the guitar input on the front of the 11R going through the rig, and you'd want some way of being able to balance the relative levels of these two signal paths in the 11R.

How do you make this work? I haven't been able to find specific information in the manual on how to set this up..
